Many have attempted to define love with concurring and dissenting perspectives.
But one thing remains true: We believe it.
This new collection of poetry + photography will take you through twelve years of love—a gripping feeling, an indescribable emotion, one state of being that you and I can only try to put into words but never really understand. Sharing the pages with other literary artists from different parts of the world, my poerty will take you through a journey of imaginary places in search of (or in pursuit of) different interpretations of love.
True enough, imagining and going places almost always bring me to experiencing poetry in many different forms, sounds, and images. Upon reaching each destination—that secluded beach, that dilapidated house, that revered sanctum, even that busy street I pass every day—I always gasp for words, hardly ever seizing the best possible way to describe how I truly feel.
For love and poetry explores different, personal recollections and stories as each piece not only sheds light on the experience of love, but also the loss, musings, and ideas that come with it. This debut collection originated from a single poem written by the author over a decade ago and has since then developed with the contribution of other literary artists. Just like the title, this book claims to be nothing except staying true to itself, love and poetry.
